On Halloween, we'll once again open our doors to creatures from the realm of ghosts and demons. Vampires, witches, bats, monsters, wizards—everyone is welcome. Our play ghosts and craft demons guarantee plenty of spooky and playful fun. The Prince of Darkness, with his fiery breath, will also be making an appearance and will lead the lantern procession at the end to drive all evil spirits out of the zoo.

Delicious food and drinks from the witch's kitchen ensure the physical well-being of the ghostly beings.

Costumed witches and monsters under 12 years old accompanied by larger vampires and demons get in free!

The zoo's resident ghosts are planning to hold a pumpkin contest again this year. They're looking for the prettiest, scariest, spookiest, most eerie, or even prettiest pumpkins! Whether carved or painted—it doesn't matter, as long as they're Halloween-appropriate!

Pumpkins can be dropped off at the zoo—labeled with your name and address—from now until 1:30 p.m. on Halloween. Visitors can then judge these demonic creations from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The three winners will each receive a family annual pass, and all participants will receive a free ticket for their efforts!

We're really looking forward to all the witches, monsters, and vampires, and of course, the devilish pumpkin creations!
